Editor review

Wire Trace pairs a number-balance rule with small boards. The board tells you the target row and column sums; you place numbers from a fixed pool to hit both sets at once. The rule is one of the cleaner number-puzzle rules I have seen this year, and the small board size keeps the boards solvable in three to five minutes each.

The hint system shows you one valid placement on demand. That trade is well-tuned; the hint never gives a full row away and a player who uses the hint button still has to do the rest of the work.

I played through about thirty boards across several short Belfast Belfast Glider rides. The session length suits the format. The save preserves your placements per board.

Where the design lands short is the late-game tier. The hardest boards depend on backtracking from a contradiction, and the contradiction is not always visible until you have placed six or seven numbers. A clearer error-state would help. Three stars overall.
