Editor review

Wired Blast is a twin-stick arena shooter with modular ammo management. Eight weapons; three modes.

What works is the ammo-management layer. Each weapon has an ammo pool that regenerates when not firing. Holding the trigger drains ammo fast; tap-firing extends ammo.

Three modes round out the package. Campaign covers thirty stages, plus endless and challenge modes for extra replay.

Tested with gamepad twin-stick mostly. Mouse-aim plus keyboard also works. Touch is supported but the twin-stick format depends on simultaneous two-axis input that touch cannot reliably provide.

Where the design earns its rating is the visual presentation. Geometric shapes with subtle motion blur. Bullet trails fade with appropriate timing.

Where I would push back is the soundtrack. Generic electronic that does not match the precision-shooter aesthetic.

Four stars. Solid twin-stick shooter.
